Level One - Intra-school competition, culminating in a School Games day.

Level Two - Regular inter-school competition between schools at a local level.

Level Three - Annual county/sub-regional culmination of inter-school competition.

Level Four - National multi-sport event.

Greater Manchester School Games, what is it all about?

Building on the hugely successful 2011 Greater Manchester School Games, the 2012 competition promises to be even bigger, better and more exciting than before with two events - the Winter and Summer Games.

Both of which will showcase the very best of school sport, offering competition in 18 sports with an estimated 3000 competitors taking part. All of which will be staged in Manchester’s world class sporting facilities.
